What PCB certifications should your manufacturing partner have?

QMS

Other PCB Certifications

Some of the other important PCB certifications include:

IATR- This is extremely important in the defense industry.

UL 508A- This is used for panels in industrial usage. Some of the areas that fall under UL 508A include:

  • Switches
  • Relays
  • Circuit Breakers
  • Timers

It is however important to remember that the loads connected to this circuitry do not fall under this certification as it accounts only for the panel & the circuitry it has direct control over
